:: random fact :: I lived in Spain for 4 months! I studied in Barcelona

during college and headed off without knowing anyone, ever being to 

Spain or Europe, and with seriously mediocre spanish skills. It turned out

to be one of the most amazing and best decisions I've ever made!

:: favorite thing about summer :: Seriously hard  to decide on just

one thing but I think I'm going to have to be cliche and say the beach. In New England

we only get 3 months of beach weather if we're lucky, during which I like to spend as much time 

as possible at our house in Cape Cod soakin' up the rays ;)

Yep, I bought my car which was a 6-speed, without knowing how to drive a stick. 

Needless to say, I went through a clutch pretty quick! I wouldn't exactly recommend that

My family doesn't have a house there anymore but we are lucky enough to still have a boat

that's up there. Every single free minute of time I have is spent here in the summer.

My Crazy Frog Story

morning gals.

keepin' it short and sweet today for several reasons:

1. I'm out of a car and have lots to do today

2. I'm too lazy to catch y'all up on what's been going on lately 

(but I promise an update will be coming soon!)

however, let me fill y'all in on a little story from last night.

Toby decided to bring a little surprise in the house when I got home.

I honestly wish that I had taken pics or video of this whole ordeal because it really was ridiculous.

anyway, little man thought it would be humorous to bring a dried up frog inside.

you read that right.

dried. up. frog.

that sucker looked like it had been baking in the sun for days.

blech.

{fun little fact} 

I hate frogs.

as in I'm terrified of them.

I used to make boyfriends carry me from the car to my door back in the day during summer. 

I kid you not.

I didn't know what it was at first but I could see it in his mouth and there were eyeballs.

o.m.g.

So of course I start running and he chases me, spitting out the disgusting reptile in the process.

I would be lying if I said I didn't use a shovel to get that thing up. 

and maybe there was a little lot of screaming involved.

and I was a bit jumpy afterwards.

god help me when I have them.

- i can live without my favorite reality shows, but a world without music would just be a sad dark place

- never do laundry again. i actually love grocery shopping! especially picking out fresh food :) laundry is just a pain in the ass because i almost always forget to take my clothes out of the dryer. yay wrinkly clothes!

3. live up north or down south?

- definitely live in the south! northern states are fun to visit, but i can't imagine growing up anywhere but the south :)

1. be able to fly or breathe underwater?

- I would be able to fly. As much as I love water - I really don't like to get my hair wet and let it stay that way. It just grosses me out. Plus, I love to travel and I would be able to get there faster if I could fly! :)

2. live without music or tv?

- This is tough. Everyone who knows me knows how much my tv shows mean to me. I even have a universal symbol that means, "SHUT THE 'H' UP," to my hubby when he tries to talk to me and my show is on [no it's not the middle finger] But, I would have to lose the tv before I lost my music. Music means so much more to me than tv could ever fill. 

3. never do laundry again or never go grocery shopping?

- Both of which I absolutely loathe. I would give up laundry anyway! I hate touching dirty clothes, touching wet clothes, and folding them after all that touching. Grrr.

- DOWN SOUTH! I'm a southern girl until the day I die! I love to travel and visit other places, I might even live somewhere outside Tennessee one day but I know I will always come back home to the mountains of East TN.

2. never do laundry again or never go grocery shopping?

- Never go grocery shopping! I HATE it with a passion!! In fact, I usually bargain my honey to do his laundry if he will do the grocery shopping. I've contemplated getting one of those personal grocery shoppers.

- Find true love! It's true what they say that money can't buy you happiness. Money can make life easier, but a life without knowing true love is a waste. Nothing compares to that feeling. I live a life without money all the time! haha

- Even though I'm terrified of heights, being able to fly. When I went skydiving, it was unlike any experience I've ever felt. Free falling and hanging by the parachute both were intense but so enjoyable. My instructor actually made the comment that we now know why birds are so happy and sing so much throughout the day.

2. never do laundry again or never go grocery shopping?

- This was a tough one because I love doing both believe it or not. I think I would give up grocery shopping first though. I always seem to go when I'm hungry so I end up buying hoards of food I don't need and then feel mega guilty when I eat it all...and then complain about being chubby.

3. Ryan Reynolds or Ryan Gosling?

- This was easy because there is no OR involved in this question. The answer is simply both. Both Ryans. All day, every day, and every night.

- I've already found true love, so definitely the million dollars.

- Less money and a job I like for sure. 
I know lots of people that are rich and they end up miserable anyways.

- I love music. I usually turn it on when I get home from work to relax while I cook dinner, do laundry, run around the house, etc. I do watch TV but it's not as constant as my music addiction! My iPod is a little overboard!

2. have your face on the $1 bill or the $100 bill?

- ok, let's just laugh because that would be hilarious to see my face on either. Imagine the decision process of what picture to use! I would have to say the $100, I see a lot less of those!

3. live up north or down south?

- This goes without saying, but I love the south. The older I get, the more I love the southern way of life. Don't get me wrong, I love visiting the North- but that's about as far as it goes!

- Psh, $1 bill! This might be the only time that quantity wins out over quality - I know I have WAY more $1 then $100 floatin' around ;)

2. have the ability to have full control of your dreams or never have to sleep?
- I've always been intrigued by dreams and figuring out what they mean and whatnot. Don't worry I'm not crazy into it or read too much into them, but the fact that they are so out of our control is what makes them interesting! So, because I wouldn't want to control dreams for that reason, I guess I by default am choosing never have to sleep? I'm a diagnosed insomniac (NOT kidding) so I guess that is fitting!

3. Ryan Reynolds or Ryan Gosling?
- Ryan Reysling. See what I did there?! Just kidding. Is it bad that this was the hardest decision of them all for me to make? If I haaaaave to choose....Ryan Reynolds.
