Turtle Man

I'm pretty sure that I've mentioned a million several times that I couldn't wait to dress Toby up for Halloween this year. Well, it finally happened. And he was such a good sport! 

Say hello to Toby {the fastest turtle} you will ever meet.

 We were the tortoise and the hare. 

get it? haha and his costume maaay have been a bit snug. oh well!

We had to have the 'photoshoot' in the garage since all the trick-or-treaters came and went before I got there. Seems like kids came super early this year....and we ran out of candy so by the end of the night kids were getting cliff bars. Yeah.....that happened.

I Feel the Neeeed for Speeeed

Happy Halloween lovelies! 

I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! I went to DC to visit friends and had SUCH a good time! I love it there....so many young people :)

Anyway, if you couldn't guess by the title of this post, I was Goose from Top Gun. {I watched it for the first time ever on Saturday and I feel more 'American' now-haha} 

Oh, and did I mention that it snowed on Saturday?! I have never in all my 25 years been dressed up in costume and have it snow. It was seriously ridiculous...and cold. Really, really cold. But that didn't stop us! Here are some pics from the weekend.

We felt like we were a good representation of America....and it was totally unplanned. 

Yesterday we walked all around Georgetown to find a sports bar to watch the games. It took us probably an hour to find a place but I got a nice little tour of the area. I think it's safe to say I'm going back there to do some shopping {once I make some money or find a man with some ;)} 

I missed this little guy over the weekend. 

Unbeknownst to him, he will be dressing up this evening to pass out candy at my parents. I will definitely be posting some pictures tomorrow. :) 

Also, I won my first ever giveaway yesterday! I came home to find out that I won a set of coasters from sweet little Allison via Jamie's page. I can't wait to get them this week!!

Party Time!

FRIDAY! 
You have no idea how completely & utterly excited I am that you have finally arrived. Seriously. {You could not have come soon enough.}

I'm headed to DC after work to go party it out with some friends {old....and new} with skinny girl margaritas in hand and ma aviators on! {hint hint} ;)

As promised yesterday, here are some pics of my little high-class stinker.

He thinks he's human...and is now addicted to coffee. My sister spilt some the other night and he licked it all up and then kept going back to the spot. And now anytime I come near him with a cup, he jumps me! Little booger.

Monday Madness

It's Monday again...the most dreaded day of the week.

We all just want a little extra time on Mondays...maybe to get a few extra hours of sleep ;)

I have this stickie note that I made a while back that I leave on my desktop for when I get discouraged.

I enjoyed every second of mine. More shopping, dining, and drinking. 

I got to catch up with two friends that I hadn't seen in a long time. Love when that happens :)

Yesterday I went and watched football with some friends at one of our favorite local bars. Of course, I didn't stay for the Colts game because that would just be embarrassing. Honestly, I'm past the point of embarrassment. I've accepted the fact that this is not our year and we can't really do anything about it. But I do have a {little} bone to pick with the Saints. Who do you guys think you are- the Patriots? Who runs up 62 points on a team that already is losing so badly 30 points ago that there was no way we could catch up?

I'm no longer a fan of you, Drew Brees. Shame on you.

Moving right along. I'm frantically running around trying to find a couple more pieces for my costume. The actual costume has been ordered and should be here by Wednesday. *Fingers crossed that it fits*

I've also gotta pick up a little accessory for my costume Halloween night. We're gonna be so cute! ;)

Hot Mess.

Good afternoon lovelies!

I can't believe it's Monday again already! I had such a fun weekend which mostly consisted of lots of birthday shopping :)

I will say that so far today I have been what you would call a {hot mess}. 

Apparently I turned off my alarm when I woke up at 3am and proceeded to sleep in.

Then I left and forgot my running shoes, ipod, and earphones. Awesome.

Luckily I hadn't gotten too far and was able to grab my shoes. At least I can still run. Phew. 

Toby is now the not so proud owner of a costume. 

I cannot wait to dress his cute little behind up!

Aaand I get to go look for these suckers tonight.

{Bam!}
