Today, my youngest sister Olivia is no longer a teenager.

weekend lovin'

Why do the weekends always seem to fly by?? Seriously, even with an extra day last week it still went by waaaay too fast. I still stand by my proposal of a 2 day work week....just sayin'.

Even though it was too short, I was still able to soak up every minute of the long weekend. Thursday night I mentioned spending time with Olivia before she went to school. What hangout with Liv would be complete without a trip to Sweet Frog?

My family got her all moved into her new dorm yesterday and I can't wait to go see it. Maybe a beach trip is in order?? The rest of my weekend was spent relaxing and hanging out with friends. (Definitely glad I made that decision.) I also realized that I tried four different kinds of wine over the weekend. I'm usually a pinot grigio girl but I feel like I should start branching out and trying other kinds. Eventually I wanna start throwing some reds in the mix. I can't remember what exactly I tried this weekend but they were all delicious! I'll let ya'll know tomorrow for sure :)

Also, while I was away this weekend, I sent little man to daycare. When I went to pick him up after two full days of play-time, the woman told me how much they all love him and how much he loves to play (as if the pictures don't speak for themselves.)

happy friday....err thursday

I woke up this morning with that Friday feeling. You know, that today is going to be a good day feeling because the sun shining through the window, good music is on your playlist, and you just feel happy. Maybe I have that feeling because today is my Friday. Whoop whoop! I'm not only excited for the long weekend, but also for what's been going on lately.

1. Toby graduated puppy class last night! I'm so proud of my little man :)

He can sit, stay, lie down, sit up, shake, and even high-five! (I taught him the last 2 myself)

2. There is something about having flowers in my apartment that makes me happy. 

So the other night I went and bought 2 bouquets of daisies (they didn't have gerber daisies- boo)

I got home and realized that they wouldn't all fit in just 1 vase so I had to go hunt for vases around the apartment. Just so happens that they are now in every room. 

 I've had these little guys for years and had yet to use them. 

What better time than now?

 oh and in the hall....

3. I get to go home tonight and help my youngest sister, Olivia pack for college. This is bittersweet. I'm excited for her and to hang out but it's going to be so weird with her being gone. 

 feels like yesterday...
