Happy Monday girls!

Did you all have a good first December weekend? 

I definitely did. It was filled with shopping, football, friends, and family. Where do I even begin?

Well, I guess with the biggest news- 

VT is Sugarbowl bound! 

We're set to play Michigan on Jan. 3 at 8:30pm. The last time I remember them playing in the Sugarbowl, I was in middle school. I won't even tell you how long ago that was. So now the question is, New Years on Bourbon Street? I'm seriously considering it.

Remember how I mentioned going to a casino party Friday night?

Well, there are several things I came to realize.

1. I hate craps

2. I love blackjack

3. I need to go to Vegas asap!

Here's what I ended up with. Doesn't look like much but you're looking at over $460,000! Bam. This girl is on fire!! Unfortunately it was all in fake money.

I also got a little Christmas shopping done this weekend. I'm nowhere near being done but it feels good to at least get started. I also bought a few things for myself {shocker there} :)

the day I cut my hair like J Simps

For those of you who were asking about my new haircut, yes, I did in fact go with the Jessica Simpson cut. And I have to say I'm pleased. 

Verdict? 

Hopefully good. :)

My costume came in last night and

It fits! And it's a little big! Whoop whoop! 

You have no idea how ecstatic I was to actually see results from running. 

{Let me toot my own horn for a second...I deserve this :)} 

I wanted to get a little over the shoulder bag to wear this weekend so I won't have to worry about carrying a huge purse around. This little guy I got from Target. 

Cute, right? And it comes in so many other awesome colors too, but this one will work best with my costume.

Monday Madness

It's Monday again...the most dreaded day of the week.

We all just want a little extra time on Mondays...maybe to get a few extra hours of sleep ;)

I have this stickie note that I made a while back that I leave on my desktop for when I get discouraged.

How can you not take a step back after reading that and put things in perspective?

I enjoyed every second of mine. More shopping, dining, and drinking. 

I got to catch up with two friends that I hadn't seen in a long time. Love when that happens :)

Yesterday I went and watched football with some friends at one of our favorite local bars. Of course, I didn't stay for the Colts game because that would just be embarrassing. Honestly, I'm past the point of embarrassment. I've accepted the fact that this is not our year and we can't really do anything about it. But I do have a {little} bone to pick with the Saints. Who do you guys think you are- the Patriots? Who runs up 62 points on a team that already is losing so badly 30 points ago that there was no way we could catch up?

Rude. Mean. Wrong. 

I'm no longer a fan of you, Drew Brees. Shame on you.

Moving right along. I'm frantically running around trying to find a couple more pieces for my costume. The actual costume has been ordered and should be here by Wednesday. *Fingers crossed that it fits*

I've also gotta pick up a little accessory for my costume Halloween night. We're gonna be so cute! ;)
