mine was really nice. 

it was really chill and productive. 

the weather was perfect all weekend.

I went to watch the VCU game with friends saturday night.

basketball + st. patty's day = perfect storm

in case you missed it, we ended up losing the game on the last shot.

we were heartbroken.

but I've gotta give it to us for hanging so close to those Hoosiers. 

now I'm all on board for Kentucky to kick the crap outta them :)

Inspiration Friday

we did it!!

we beat the shockerssss

but not before almost giving me a heart attack.
We play Indiana tomorrow so I've gotta rush to the bookstore and get me another shirt since I still can't seem to figure out what happened to mine.

I was better with not eating out this week and ended up bringing my lunch to work everyday.
It's much healthier and cheaper so I'm gonna try to keep this up.

I did manage to go to the gym this week but only twice.
I've had a lot going on this week so I didn't get to go as much as I'd like.
Next week I plan on going at least 4 days.

I need this for work.

I was very productive this week, managing to get some important things done that I've been putting off. Better late than never!

Dancin' & Weekending

good morning! 

I don't know if any of you caught the CAA championship game on espn last night but in case you missed it.....

That's right. Most of you may know us as VC-WHO from the tournament last year but I think we made a name for ourselves by getting into the final four. can I get a whoop whoop?!

It was absolutely insane last year after we got a bid in the tournament and our school took crap all along the way. It was so awesome to be a part of it and watch the entire city come together. There was a pep rally held right outside my office building with a huge banner of Dick Vitale telling him to eat crow after making it to the elite eight. {see below} Trying to get to a bar to watch the game was almost out of the question. You had to get there at least 3-4 hours early and then just wait until game time....unless you wanted to stand by the door. I hope we can make the same run this year. 

This was taken right after we won the game that put us in the final four.

So I'm a day late and maybe a dollar short but I've got a weekend recap for y'all.

I kept it pretty low key cause I was still trying to get over that wicked cold/sinus infection from last week. Liv came home for spring break and we had a girls day :)

and then my aunt came over and we made springy cupcakes.

{she just created a beauty blog with lots of neat products that she tries out so make sure you head over and show her some love for me}

cupcakes galore.

i swear he looks like a teddy bear.
