hello lovers.

it's my half day today {thank ya jesus}

I'm heading to Newport News to see my sister in her Burlesque dance performance. 

yeahhh yeahhh and for some brother/sister bonding time. :)

I think I'm gonna go with 7. 

That's what I always pick when someone asks me to choose.

sweet tea. 

preferably from chick-fil-a or mcallisters

I'm kind of over the whole facebook thing now and have jumped on the twitter bandwagon. But I still don't know when it's appropriate to tweet....haha

my passion:

sports.

I love watching them and just being around them.

My dream job is to be a sports broadcaster, but I would love to just be working around a pro sports team. 

favorite animal:

aside from my little man, I would have to say I've always loved bunnies. I had one when I was growing up and was devastated when we had to give him away. Ever since then, I've always had a soft spot for those guys.

getting or giving presents:

both? haha

Giving is actually really fun for me because I love surprising people and knowing that you're gonna love what I get you. Cause let's be honest, I kick tail at giving gifts. Ask anyone whose received  :)

favorite day of the week:

I initially thought Friday but I still have to go to work on Fridays. 

So Saturday it is!

It's in the middle of the weekend and it's totally acceptable to be completely and utterly lazy :)

Awards for the Shortest Day of the Year

Good morning girlfrands :)

The final countdown is on- only 3 more days until Christmas!! 

Today is also the shortest day of the year. That means that I probably won't even make it out of my pj's at this rate. At least I can get all my presents wrapped today. Have you guys finished everything you need to before this weekend? I'll be spending most of today and tomorrow helping my mom clean for family that is coming over. 

I've also gotta squeeze a mani/pedi in there somehow. I can't decide if I want to just paint my nails or do the Sally Hansen press ons that I got. They last at least 10 days so I've gotta commit to it for Christmas and NYE if I do it....ahhh decisions! It's the little things in life, right?!

ok, let's see.

- I'm the oldest of 4 kids

- I danced for 9 years. I did it all- tap, ballet, pointe, jazz, and latin. I wish I would've kept it up but I just got burnt out after a while.

- I hate going to the movies. I'd much rather cuddle up on the couch in sweatpants with a glass of wine and watch it.

- I've never been out of the country before and only been as far west as Tennessee. I'm planning on changing that next year with a trip to Vegas....and maybe the Caribbean ;)

- I'm a bit of a coffee snob. I drink Starbucks and the coffee I make at home {complete with flavored creamer and whipped cream}

- I could listen to Michael Buble and Rascal Flatts all.day.long!

- I wanted to be a sideline reporter for the longest time. Still do....but I'm not sure if it'll ever happen.
