My Crazy Frog Story

morning gals.
keepin' it short and sweet today for several reasons:
1. I'm out of a car and have lots to do today
2. I'm too lazy to catch y'all up on what's been going on lately
(but I promise an update will be coming soon!)

however, let me fill y'all in on a little story from last night.

Toby decided to bring a little surprise in the house when I got home.
I honestly wish that I had taken pics or video of this whole ordeal because it really was ridiculous.
anyway, little man thought it would be humorous to bring a dried up frog inside.
you read that right.

dried. up. frog.

that sucker looked like it had been baking in the sun for days.
blech.

{fun little fact}
hate frogs.
as in I'm terrified of them.
I used to make boyfriends carry me from the car to my door back in the day during summer.
I kid you not.

I didn't know what it was at first but I could see it in his mouth and there were eyeballs.
o.m.g.
So of course I start running and he chases me, spitting out the disgusting reptile in the process.
I would be lying if I said I didn't use a shovel to get that thing up.
and maybe there was a little lot of screaming involved.
and I was a bit jumpy afterwards.

boys.
god help me when I have them.

YUCK! I actually don't have a problem with frogs though. When it rains here, frogs will literally cover the roads though and we're asked to not drive because you will literally kill THOUSANDS just driving.

ewww, that poor frog. so you know me, I pretty much like all living creatures. frogs included. but my sister ... omg. if you put a frog in her face, she will scream. and run to the next city. trust me ... I do it all the time. I'm such a good little sis.

EWWWWW! I hate anything slimy & scaly or creepy-crawly. Pretty sure I would've passed out from terror if that happened to me! One time my cat dropped off a decapitated snake on our front step... I never forgave her.

Oh nooo! I am TERRIFIED of frogs too! Seriously, I know it's an irrational fear (my husband makes me chant, I am bigger than frogs, when we jog at dusk and they all come out to play...haha), but I can't help it! Once, my husband was out of town and I found one IN OUR HOUSE. Perched on top of my dining room centerpiece. Long story short, I ended up going across the street and waking up my neighbor and his elderly mother at 11:00 pm so that he could come get the frog out of my house. It was either that or a hotel room! I'm glad that yours was dead and immobile, at least :)

Hahaha, this post made me LOL IRL!!!

For some bizarre reason the neighborhood cat keeps bringing dead field mice to the little entranceway to my apartment building, and it seems like I'm always the first one to see it and have to get a stick and move it off of the sidewalk!! Ick!! But if I didn't move it, Hazel would be all curious and potentially eat it, and that's not happening on MY watch.
