Resolution Reveal!

Good morning lovely lady friends :)
First, I just want to thank those of you who offered some great advice yesterday! I really do appreciate it! I'm excited to finally share my resolutions with y'all today. Well, I'm not sure you could really call them all resolutions, but they are things that I'm aiming to do in 2012. I'm sure you've seen the new 'bucket lists' on pinterest so I decided to use that as inspiration to creatively share mine. :)

This year wasn't the nicest to me, so needless to say I am ready to take hold of 2012 and make it my year. This is only a short list of 'resolutions' as there are some that I just can't put on my little blog right now...cause, you know...certain people could be reading this that I can't share too much info with.

Shall we get started?
I give you my 2012 :)
I'm totally guilty of spending money and having no clue where it actually goes. Next year I'm going to be better about keeping track of it and setting aside money in different accounts.

Ok, not really a resolution but it's happening! I can hardly contain my excitement!! :)

Last year I ran a 10k here in town, but this year I already plan on doing the color run in Atlanta. It's only a 5k but hey, it's still a race. And a fun opportunity to meet up with some amazing fellow bloggers. If you're interested, click here.

I definitely got out of the habit of reading for pleasure while I was in school just because I had so much required reading as it was. Next year I wanna change that. And I'm gonna start with my little present from Dayna :)

Soooo guilty of being unhealthy it's not even funny. Now I don't go and get burgers every week and eat out all the time but I'll admit that I'll choose just about anything over an apple. I've gotta start planning meals for the week so I don't get home and pop in a pizza just because I'm tired....and same with bringing lunch. I'll save so much more money if I bring my lunch every week as opposed to going out.

This one pretty much speaks for itself. Goodbye 2011, hello 2012!

I don't know about y'all but sometimes I get so stressed just thinking of all the things that I need to do, that I end up getting too overwhelmed and not doing any of it. Again, it all starts with making a plan.

I'm not gonna lie. I complain. A lot. You would think that I have such an awful life sometimes, but that's not even close to being the case. It's just so easy to fuss about what I don't have instead of thinking about what I do have. I'm making an effort next year to be grateful for what I do have.

The past two years of my life I was basically living for someone else. I did what made that person happy and put myself second. I didn't have a problem doing that at the time, but now that I have another chance I'm going to do what makes me happy. Like I said before, 2012 is going to be my year. :)

This will happen. I always get motivated to workout for a certain event...but once that event is over I just fall back into my old habits and it becomes a vicious cycle. Now, I know I'm not big by any means but I really just want to tone and get in really good shape. I'm 25...this is my prime. That being said, I'm working towards a size 2 for Vegas. 5 months? Totally do-able ;)

I can't believe this is my last post of 2011!
What are some of your resolutions?
I'd love to hear them :)
**Don't forget to enter my giveaway here. You have until next Tues. Jan 3rd.**
See y'all next year!!!
xoxo.

I think going to Vegas sounds like a great idea. I have always wanted to go on a vacation there it seems like you could never get bored?

Saving more money and getting fit are two things that are also on my 2012 resolution list. I'm crossing my fingers for successful outcomes.

Good luck on yours :)

LOVE your resolutions! I feel like we lead similar lives--- putting yourself first is the most important thing and the past 2 years I have been putting someone else first too! I always have to remind myself that the past is the past for a reason. Time to do what WE want! Like go to Vegas and be super healthy and run 10k (or a 5k in my book...lol)
Happy New Year! xoxo
